This is the ninth episode of Lalin's Curse. As well, this episode features ambient sound.
Summary[]
The episode starts by showing a blue butterfly landing on a glowing orange person, which resembles David. He watches as the butterfly flies off, seemingly shocked at the landscape and scenery around him. He floats off of the roof that he was sitting on before landing on the ground. Beginning to explore the area, he spots two shadowy figures watching him, but continues on. A many-eyed creature is shown on a building nearby, also watching.
The butterfly lands on his hand
He eventually stumbles upon a line of bugs - much like the cockroaches in Episode 3 - that lead to a window in a building that resembles Felix's bedroom window. However, he’s distracted by someone screaming for help, which is revealed to be a creature with long, black hair. After walking up to the creature, he extends his hand to aid it.
The creature lifting him up
The creature’s face morphs into something much more sinister while calling him naive, a tendril wrapping around his wrist. As the tendril lifts him up into the air, he spots several faces and hears them asking for help and saying that they’re hungry. The creature continues speaking and says, “I had been looking for you for a while. It’s not easy to find a soul like you. You’ll not escape again this time.” The tendrils begin to wrap around him more, and he calls out, begging for help. The blue butterfly reappears, flying up to the creature. It starts to shine extremely bright, the light nearly obscuring everything. David wakes up, visibly panicked and confused. Bruises are visible around his wrists and neck, much like where the creature’s tendrils were wrapped. The blue butterfly is shown hovering outside of his window.
